Processing For Color Film

CUT NEGATIVE REORDERS - 3 to 5 Days
(Orders received after 10:30 a.m. will be processed the next business day)
"Deluxe" services include dust spotting. Blemishes, stray hairs, glass glare are not considered dust spotting. Removal of these problems requires artwork and/or retouching which are available at an additional charge.
  • GUIDE PRINT: Include only if you want us to match color and density to your guide print.
  • NO GUIDE PRINT: We will print to lab standards.
  • ARTWORK: 2 additional days when negatives require artist retouch.
  • SPECIAL CROPPING: at the machine price will be required to place negatives on Baldwin ProLab issued crop cards. If crop cards are not used and the machine price is requested, then we will print the negative using our best judgment. If this is not acceptable we will reprint upon request but will charge the regular price again.
  • ANALYZING FEE: There is a 10 cent per negative service charge if we must analyze a negative before we can print the order. If the film was processed and proofed at Baldwin ProLab you can avoid this fee by using the glassines we provide which contain the analyzed data.
  • RECROPPING: There is a $1.00 per negative service charge if we must reposition or remove a negative to a different crop card

Our custom services are designed to augment color machine printing by providing a service with special dodging, cropping, diffusion and burning in. Dust spotting is included in the custom price. It is essential when ordering that your instructions be concise and that a proof, identifying areas to be enhanced, is enclosed.
Note: These prices do not include mounting. Mounting is an additional service that must be ordered.

*** Test strip: approximately 6x20 inch strip requested when planning to order a 16x20 or larger print. Ordered primarily to check grain and focus. Cost is $8.97. Of this cost, a $4.00 credit will be applied toward your enlargement when you place your order.
